What is a Merchant Account?
A Merchant Account is a type of user in Visitour PH App wherein
they can setup an online platform for their establishments such as
restaurants, bed & breakfast, staycation, and many more kinds of
establishments.
How can I apply as a merchant on your App?
Applying as a merchant is as easy as A-B-C! You just need to
download our app for FREE on Google Play Store and Apple App
Store. After that, you can now register your account and setup your
establishment. There will be a guide on how to setup your merchant
How much do I need to pay to be a Merchant on your App?
There is NO REGISTRATION FEE or any kinds of FEE when you want to
become a Merchant or partner with Visitour PH. Everything is FREE!
What are Benefits of having a Merchant Account?
These are the main features or benefits of our partnered merchants:
In-app Digital Wallet, Real-time Update on Bookings, Quick Summary
of Bookings and Payments, In-app Chat Capability to Customers,
and a lot more that you can discover while using our app.
Can I add videos to the gallery of my establishment?
Currently, the Visitour.ph app only accepts pictures for the gallery
of
the establishments. However, we will add this feature soon.
Can I accept bookings in the app without an Internet?
As of now, you cannot accept booking requests in the app without
an internet.
Why does the payment of the customers not reflect on
my merchant dashboard even though I already received
their
payment?
All payments of the customers will only reflect on your dashboard
once you mark the booking as complete.
Can I access my account on my laptop computer?
Visitour.ph app has a Web portal accessible at https://visitouradmin.
com/.
Access is only available to the LGUs and Merchant partners
I can’t contact or message my customers. Why is that?
Merchants and guests will only be able to use the chat feature
once the payment has been confirmed. Moreover, if the booking
or transaction is already complete, the chat feature will be
deactivated. Visitour.ph made these conditions to protect the
privacy of both parties.
Why did I not receive the full amount paid by the
customers?
The total amount you received on your wallet paid by the customers
has already been deducted by the 5% service fee that was
mentioned in the T&Cs for the Visitour.ph app.
Customer already paid his booking, but it does not show on the app?
After settling your booking, the payment you have made will reflect
on the app once it has already been processed and confirmed. The
processing time usually takes 24 to 48 hours.
Can I cash-in or deposit to my Merchant e-Wallet?
As of now, you cannot cash-in directly to your merchant e-wallet
app. The only way for your wallet to have balance is through the
payment of the customers to your establishment.
Can I create multiple merchant accounts by only using a single user account?
Yes, you can have multiple merchant or establishments by only
using a single user account. Just simply tap the “Switch to Merchant”
and click the plus (+) sign to add new establishment.
